Poseidon's Inn
5/5 Excellent
"Easy entry system. Well cared for property and modern with pleasant entrance and stairway to room. Room was large and modern with well maintained furnishings. Bathroom was obviously new with a shower over bath and plenty of hot water, although our preference would be a walk in shower. We thought that the mattresses were a little on the hard side for us though with heavy duvets more suited to colder weather. We were lucky to have warm weather and the room was very warm. There was no mirror in the bedroom only in the bathroom which was a bit frustrating at times, but overall a nice bright room with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space also a desk come dressing table although didn’t use it as no mirror. We sat out for a while on the little decking area and enjoyed watching the golfers and the sea views.
Our booking included breakfast at The Firth Hotel in the main part of Lossiemouth so had to drive there in the morning, hot breakfast was made to order and there was also fresh fruit and yogurt available which I enjoyed. Pleasant staff in both the Firth and Poseidon so an enjoyable stay."
