"Found this charming dollhouse of a property for our bridal suite for our September wedding! The apartment is absolutely charming and beautiful! Our bridesmaids got ready here and had a great time soaking in all the frills and adorable theming. It felt like stepping into a vintage dollhouse. It is surprisingly spacy, even with 10 girls we did not feel cramped at all when getting ready! The owner was so kind and left us a little surprise for our wedding! We cannot wait to see the amazing photos! "

Arrived 10 minutes before check in and the amazing cleaning person confirmed we were in the right place and gave us the access codes. The house was spotless and beautifully adorned. Neighborhood a bit run down so it was suprising to see such a lovely interior as seen on the photos online. Communication with host was automated and as mentioned, the house numbers were reversed...

"Loved shopping the old historic street with fun shops and farmer’s market on Saturday morning. Lots of helpful touches, like blackout curtains to the street. It was stated that there was street noise from the coffee shop but it lasted til about midnight on Friday. Burned out light bulbs in main level bathroom made it hard for 5 adults to get ready for a wedding. So glad there was a second bathroom with adequate lighting. Reading lights in bedroom could not be used because cords were missing....

"The location was fantastic. Within walking distance to all things downtown St Charles. This loft was adorable! Very clean and cozy. We loved it! The only downfall was the parking out back and loud folks partying/arguing in the middle of the night in the alley nearby. But it was a Saturday night and if we hadn’t had to be up early the next day, we would have still been awake!"

"The overall vibe struck me as a college town apartment: the building was fine, but finishes were underwhelming. The unit itself was a little small, but workable. We had a scenario where the heater seemed to be acting up; the room actually got warmer after we shut the heat off. It was a pleasant enough stay, and served the purpose we had come for: visiting our adult children. It was a bit of a walk to get to the historic district."
