Contacted via WhatsApp. When I arrived, I called the number from WhatsApp, and the door buzzed open remotely. Made my way to the lift, went to the third floor, turned right, the hallway door was unlocked, found my room#3, with the key in the door. "Situation in Ortigia in an area of narrow, interesting lanes full of restaurants and local businesses is fascinating. Very much an atmosphere of Sicilian Ortigia. Room was very clean and modern with aircon and good bathroom. Roof garden where breakfast is served is attractive but the breakfast itself is average. There is a car park quite close at the marina but it is very expensive. Satnav finding the loction was quite useless. Important to contact the owner before arrival."

"Wow this apt is in a gorgeous historic building that has been lovingly renovated with an incredible artistic flair. Neighborhood is central with great nightlife. I really enjoyed my stay. Heads up for those of you who can't carry your bags up stairs-- there is no elevator so climbing a minimum of one floor up is necessary. I didn't mind a bit, just FYI. "

"This is an amazing hotel nestled in on a side street in the center of Catania. It’s closed to everything you need. I had an amazing dinner steps away from my room last night for Christmas. Nicola is an incredible host. He made sure that all my needs were met. After being in Rome for 5 days I needed a break from the hustle n bustle of a big city that’s very noisy. Well here at this hotel there is no outside sounds to be heard from my room besides the beautiful church bells ringing time to time....
