"Property was warm and cosy, Hot tub was up and running on arrival and well situated as everyone could still be part of 1 big group even if sat in kitchen. Kitchen large and spacious but there was a shortage of cups and glasses,all other equipment was satisfactory.Bedrooms were warm and cosy. On-suite shower was a bit problematic as it kept going hot and cold and with 8 of us there we had to plan a rota.The bath was lovely and there was an abundance of hot water."

"Pleasant Vale is a lovely house for a family holiday, with plenty of space so that time spent at the property is as enjoyable as time spent visiting the fantastic beaches and historic sights. Marros beach is an absolute gem, well worth the work down and back. Guy the host was always available for help and advise. Highly recommended."

"The property has a good sized bathroom with plenty of space in the shower and a heated towel rail. The water can become very hot as regulating it can be a little tricky. More water flow makes it easier to adjust the temperature. The bedroom has a lovely big comfortable bed and usefully sized table with plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. The wardrobe and hanging space is sufficient for those travelling with cabin baggage sized luggage, but it is a room well thought out and worked well...

"Stunning location with wonderful walks with the dog. Although not really suitable for dog as no garden and sheer drop from bank to small patio. Small but adequate as had everything we needed inside. Cosy fire, near pub,beach and village shop. A welcome box,treat would have made a nice touch especially as it was our wedding anniversary but alas nothing, in fact no communication with the owner at all."

"Booked at short notice for all 12 of us to attend a tragic funeral. Only criticisms were shortage of cooking utensils, lack of food processor and generally old and poor pots and pans. Also the hot tub was too hot and we couldn’t get it cooler. Otherwise, lovely house and grounds."
