My one note is that I only realized that we needed to go to Hotel Orientale to pick up the keys because I read it in a review. That information may have been in a communication, but I hadn't noticed it. We would definitely stay here again. "

"The front desk was on the ground floor, as usual in Europe. The lift that I never used was a little bit up the stairs. To get to the 1st floor, I had to climb another circular flight of stairs. The room I had was big enough for myself, with the bathroom having plenty of space. Overall, the fixtures were aged, worn, but clean. The bed was very comfortable, the pillow being a little shallow. I asked for a second pillow and promptly got it. My room overlooked the ferry terminal across the street....

"Lovely place to spend the night. Plenty of parking, beautiful common area, clean and quiet room with nice furnishings and refreshing scents! The towel rod was broken in our bathroom and we had some trouble operating the front gate. I also cannot comment on breakfast because we left too early to enjoy it. The whole place is unreal, out of a movie, and definitely worth visiting for the falcon and horse shows."
