"This was a beautiful site, with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. The only things I would recommend changing are the mattresses, which were firm but futons and didn't provide great support. Investing in good thick mattresses would make a huge difference. And I would also add a nice scent to the linens as everything smelled very strongly of vinegar, which we understand is used to disinfect ecologically. But a bit of lavender or lemon essence would dramatically improve the scent."

"The staff at Masseria Le Lamie are fantastic. They genuinely want you to have a great holiday and they will go above and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful time. The pool and lounge area is very relaxing and has olive trees to provide natural shade. The rooms are spotless and the bed is really comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant is also a lovely experience. You do need a car because Masseria Le Lamie is not within walking distance to the nearest town."

"Les points positifs de l’hôtel sont la grande piscine et l’espace extérieure. En revanche, notre chambre était très très décevante. Sombre, odeur de moisie, meubles et équipements très anciens, digne d’un F1 ou hôtel discount. Pas de WIFI dans les chambres. L’hôtel nécessite d’être refait complètement car baigne dans son jus depuis plusieurs années. C’est dommage. "

The host/owner didn't ahve the wifi "loaded" when we arrived, and we actaully arrived a day later than scheduled, and we didn't end up having wifi until the following day, which for some is not an issue but it really was for me. The cell service is also very light there and so I had to get on the roof deck to connect- not the best experience. The place is really fun and unique and it IS remote. "Stayed here 12 nights with my partner between August and September. Owners Valerio, Antonella and family are all good hosts, friendly and always available. The site is spacious and well located - just a short 10 min drive into the centre of beautiful Porto Cesareo, with supermarket, post office, launderette very close. The breakfast is all homemade and typical Italian - for us it was a little too sweet but Valerio and Antonella soon accomodated our taste and provided the most delicious selection...

"Everything was great. Fabrizio is a great host, the house is strategically located a few steps from the beach hence great for families with small children. One more plus is that you are very close to Porto Cesareo and its amenities."

"One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. Staff were great, the facilities and standard of upkeep excellent, and a really comfortable bed. Breakfast offered a generous selection of continental style food. The hotel is right in the middle of Lecce 's historic district, my room window overlooking one of the top 5 sights of the city. Just 15 minute walk from the rail station. Just about a perfect place to stay in what quickly became one of my top 10 European cities. "

"The staff at this hotel are so nice. The breakfast is really good. My room was comfortable, a little spartan but that was fine. Everything I needed was there. I love the lobby, I don’t know if you’d all it art deco or faded grandeur but I really did like it. This hotel is right in the middle of everything. The sea is 5 minutes walk in one direction, including the ferry terminal. The railway station 10 minutes in the other. I was very comfortable here."

"This amazing hotel has a great location over looking the white city of ostuni. We had a lovely experience and stay in this outstanding place. Everything about it was perfect: stuff, service, location, rooms, breakfast and lovey rooftop restaurant for a fine cuisine, view and comfort. We loved it and give it 10 out of 10!"
