"This was a beautiful site, with friendly staff and comfortable accommodations. The only things I would recommend changing are the mattresses, which were firm but futons and didn't provide great support. Investing in good thick mattresses would make a huge difference. And I would also add a nice scent to the linens as everything smelled very strongly of vinegar, which we understand is used to disinfect ecologically. But a bit of lavender or lemon essence would dramatically improve the scent."

"The property contact, Costanza, was great. The host/owner didn't ahve the wifi "loaded" when we arrived, and we actaully arrived a day later than scheduled, and we didn't end up having wifi until the following day, which for some is not an issue but it really was for me. The cell service is also very light there and so I had to get on the roof deck to connect- not the best experience. The place is really fun and unique and it IS remote. "The staff at Masseria Le Lamie are fantastic. They genuinely want you to have a great holiday and they will go above and beyond to ensure that you have a wonderful time. The pool and lounge area is very relaxing and has olive trees to provide natural shade. The rooms are spotless and the bed is really comfortable. Dinner at the restaurant is also a lovely experience. You do need a car because Masseria Le Lamie is not within walking distance to the nearest town."

"Les points positifs de l’hôtel sont la grande piscine et l’espace extérieure. En revanche, notre chambre était très très décevante. Sombre, odeur de moisie, meubles et équipements très anciens, digne d’un F1 ou hôtel discount. Pas de WIFI dans les chambres. L’hôtel nécessite d’être refait complètement car baigne dans son jus depuis plusieurs années. C’est dommage. "

"From the warm welcome, the fresh produce on arrival, and the villa itself, this was one of the highlights of our trip to Europe.
