"Booked 3 night stay, arrived to a property that looks to be in disrepair. Rubbish in the garden and overgrown. Opened the door to the accommodation and was immediately floored by the overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. 10mins of being inside the property my clothes stank of cigarettes. The property details clearly show ‘smoke free’ Whilst looking around I noticed what appears to be human ‘snot’ wiped up the wall under the TV. I refused to stay, let the owner know, who apologised and...

"The Craven Arms is the most welcoming, amazing pub we've been lucky to visit in the UK. The stories about the owners and the pub are amazing. The regulars were super welcoming and happy to share a few pints and swap stories. The food is excellent and services is great! And then there are the shepherd huts, so cozy, I only wished I stayed longer. I'll certainly be back!"

"Our two night stay in Lodge 1 was perfect and relaxing. Easy checkin process and the lodge was clean and welcoming. The lodge is just 10 minutes away from Skipton centre and 20 minutes away from Bolton Abbey, which we had a lovely walk around. Sitting in the hot tub with the starry sky and the hilly views topped the stay off. One of the top lodges I’ve ever stayed in. "

"Our check in time was 3pm and although the booking was accepted and property details provided, we were not send the code to access the key box. We messaged the host for the final access details as we were arriving and got no response. We called VRBO who provded details to contact the host directly and also no response. We then recieved a message at 3:45pm (after the 3pm check in time) cancelling the booking due to a 'water leak'. Why the host was checking for water leaks after the time we were...
