"Hlemmur Suites was a great place to stay, highly recommend. Check in was easy (and keyless so one less thing to worry about when out and about) and the location was great as it was a short walk to the Main Street with bars and shops, as well as walkable to most attractions and tour pick up points. "This apartment is a gem!! It is located beside “bus stop 12” and we were picked up there for all of our excursions so extremely convenient. The apartment itself was perfect for our party of 3 and it had everything we needed for our stay. We took a short walk to a grocery store and made quite a few meals in the well stocked kitchen. The washer and dryer were a bonus! I highly recommend!!!"

"great apartment in great area with a shop nearby and bakery and a pizzeria, however it’s best to get a rental car as it’s around 15 minutes from reykjavik and i’m not sure how public transport works around here. other than that it’s great would highly recommend and would come back again!! "

"The view was amazing from the north (?) side. Beautiful mountains to see, as well as city view. Hotel has been renovated so everything was clean and new. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything for basic cooking. Only issue was a metal panel on the outside stairwell was loose and noisy flapping in the wind but otherwise it was a great place to stay!"

"Really good location, right in the center. It’s tiny but also cheap, so that is fine. The only thing we disliked was that we didn’t know the emergency exit was going through our room and that meant we had emergency lights on 24/7 and they were extremely bright which made it hard to sleep. We would have brought sleep masks if we had known! The bathroom was a little messily renovated, but clean."

"This was a great place for our first trip out of the US. The location was incredibly convenient, all our needed bus stops and restaurants and museums were never anymore than a 15 minute walk max. The place itself had a great view, great kitchen area and comfortable beds. The check in was easy, I always got a quick response to any message. "The Reykjavik Edition is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. For my first time in Iceland it was an unforgettable experience and the hotel was just as amazing as the country itself! The staff there were unreal and so accommodating, I've never felt more taken care of! The amenities are top notch and the location is an ideal base to explore Reykjavik as well as the rest of Iceland. I am so thankful I chose this hotel and would easily recommend it to anyone traveling to Iceland as the customer care is unparalleled! Skol to all the lovely people I met at the edition! "
