"This pub with rooms is perfect for what it is. Room was clean, modern, pleasant. Food was great. People were friendly, kind and welcoming. Close to motorway but quiet and in a pretty village. Used this place to split my journey from London to friends in Scotland. Will use it again. Bravo. "

"We had a delightful time at the Troutbrook Inn. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, plus they were certainly dog friendly. As this was my first time travelling with my dogs this was so reassuring. Would certainly book again if making a return visit to the area. "

"Lovely stay at The Crown Inn - great welcome and all round excellent service from the team, very comfortable, clean and beautifully presented bedroom, great atmosphere in the bar , delicious food - spacious outside seating area overlooking the river - would not hesitate to return."

"Only slight criticism is id like bacon and proper sausages for breakfast, however location was good. Free parking. We got some fresh cookies on arrival which were amazing. Id definitely stay here again if im ever in penrith. Mark was an amazing host. "

"I had a wonderful overnight stay here. The room was lovely, ver quiet with beautiful views and a very comfortable bed. I did use the spa which was at extra cost but it was lovely and relaxing. I opted for the fine dining in the evening and it was outstanding. Breakfast was included and the menu had plenty of options from continental to freshly prepared hot options.The staff were very helpful and friendly- I will certainly rebut for a longer visit. "

"Excellent hotel and apartments, We stayed in the apartments on the hotel grounds this were to a very high standard with everything you needed. My daughter and myself enjoyed our stay in one of the 2 bedroom one's each room offering a super king size bed and ensuite, TV's in each room, comfortable lounge area and well equipped kitchen, the hotel bar and restaurant is only a short walk across the car park with a great choice of lunch and evening meals available. The staff are super friendly and helpful"

"We love this hotel, the decor is brilliant and very fitting for the Lake District. Pool and gym are great. But you have to pay £15 if you don’t book direct. EV charging. Lovely bar and restaurant "
