"A lodge in a quiet location about 2 miles from Bude. A spacious lodge with all the things that you might need for a self catering stay. The lodge is accessed from a flight of 18 steps some of which were covered in loose gravel. Not a particular problem for us but could well be deal breaker for older holiday makers. "The safari tent is large and well constructed. It doesn’t really feel like a tent when you are inside but has all the charm of a safari tent from the outside. The beds a comfortable and the lounge and bathroom are comfortable and clean. The wood burner is great. The veranda in the early morning and late evening is a beautiful place to just sit and relax.
