"As of April 2025 construction means you have to walk 5mins outside to get to the on-site restaraunt. Unfortunately it was a windy/heavy rain day during our stay and this was tough. That said, hospitality was top notch. The food was tasty, and the train museum is free and *right there*. Which was a fun surprise for our toddler. Price per night feels steep for the area ($400 after the $20 resort fee added at check-in). I expect to pay that much in big cities or at Spas... But with good weather...

"The dinner at the Hunter's inn was excellent. It would be nice if they had full-service breakfast during the week. The bed was quite large and comfortable. The bathroom was TOO small!!! I could barely fit in there. The cable reception was horrible!!! "

"We pulled up to The Wylder on Tilghman Island and immediately was taken back with its charm and character of the entire property. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We met Lauren in reception and she was great! We spent time at Ticklers and enjoying the amenities of the property. We appreciate how dog friendly this resort is, since we love to travel with our dog. As a first time visit to the Island and Wylder, we have felt so welcome and will be planning another visit back soon! "
