"We had a nice weekend at this property. The location is very nice. It had a large yard that leads down to Lake Michigan with a very nice, large screened back porch, and a wooden swing and fire-pit down by the lake. It also has nice side yard fenced off if you bring your dog. Bringing our pet service animal was a big plus. A couple of negatives, the property is on the lower level so there is someone who lives above, so renters should be aware. You can hear the upstairs residents. Might also...

"We had a nice few days in the garage studio apartment. The location worked well for our visit. It is about a mile walk into town. There aren't any streetlights for the last part of the walk, so be aware if you plan to return (by walking) after dark. "This property is clearly managed by someone who takes pride in being a welcoming host. Upon arrival, the house is warm and inviting. As others have mentioned, having snacks on the counter and drinks in the fridge help you to settle in quickly. The house is right off of Main Street and, depending on weather, easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We used it has a home base for skiing at Treetops and it was an easy 8min drive.
