WE WERE NOT SAFE. We were attacked at different hotel when intruder climbed onto our 2nd floor balcony. We checked in and told room on 2nd floor. We asked for different room. Clerk did not check options just told us NONE were available . The room listed as second floor. Yet it was on the ground level. Screen door would not lock. Anyone Could look right in and climb over railing onto balcony. Bright balcony light on all night glaring in room. Clerk not friendly at check in, gave us lame excuses when we talked about concerns and safety. . Horrible night sleep, had to risk lack of security or deal with air conditioner 3 feet from face. . Upside room was very clean and well designed. Breakfast was wonderful. Did we get this treatment because of good price through Expedia.? We would like some follow up and response.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room seemed clean but needs to be updated. The carpet was very stained and the bathroom was pretty scary. (Worst shower ever) The pool was so cold I couldn't go in. Breakfast was really good. Overpriced for the room.

There were 2 sinks in the room, neither one drained properly. The jetted tub had peeling finish. The air conditioner smelled moldy. The shower was very small and shampoo etc had to be placed on the shower floor because there was not even a shelf. The staff and the view were excellent, but the hotel needs to be maintained in terms of plumbing, hvac and the furniture needs to be updated, the veneer was peeling off.

I have stayed here before a couple years ago and like it and figured to try again. This time it had its pros and cons. We had the 3 queen bedroom. The beds were good, spacious rooms, and had a patio looking the bay. The cons were horrible water pressure in the shower and inconsistent hot/cold temps. The sub floor next to the toilet was about to give way. I stepped back in the area and felt no stable ground. The ice machine kept breaking. The breakfast was good but the same thing day after day. The pool is clean but the hot tub was too hot and pool was too cold. Also we arrived at 5pm and the room was not ready yet! We had to wait for the house keeping to get there and clean it. The wifi didn't work the first night there but worked well afterwards. I could go on and on. But I think I made the main points.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Caulking on floor next to bathtub was black with mold. Other than that the room was clean. Liked the room size and like having a balcony with view of the water. Outside door 2 cigarette container was overflowing entire time we were there. Grounds were well kept and nicely landscaped. Breakfast was good with many options.
