"It is an older motel bit it was very clean and tidy. We were travelling and just needed somewhere to rest. It was on the hyway and easy to find. Road noise was not a problem. Lovely garden area out the back door. For the price it was great and served our needs."

We stayed for 2 nights, and other than hearing a few cars on the gravel in carpark, no other noise, very quiet considering on the main road into Bowen. "Classic 1960's motel with views! An original gem, very well kept. I hope they never change it. It's a North Queensland icon. It's out of town but very handy if you're staying enroute to somewhere else."
