"Lovely refurbed room which was mercifully not too warm - the bane of so many hotel rooms. Water provided in the rooms, a nice touch. Food was excellent at lunch and breakfast. James and Nikki were extremely friendly and accommodating, and we genuinely felt looked after. The only slightly strange event was returning at 10.45 after a concert to find the hotel locked up, but a bang on the window sorted it. "

I would stay again such a beautiful building. Only one negative was the pigeon that sat on the vent to the bathroom singing to us but sooner that than noisy people."

"We had a lovely stay. Friendly welcome and check in. Great character room with comfy four poster bed. Huge bath to soak in as well as separate shower. Excellent breakfast. The only reservation we had was street parking. As soon the shops closed it was easy to park in front of pub. Free parking until 10.30am not an issue. Definitely stay again. Thank you"

"This was a lovely property to stay for a visit to the Christmas event to Blenheim Palace. Parking was on the street pottage which you can pay via Ringo. Unfortunately it was for a limited time and so you can't pay to leave it there all day. Nice breakfast, included in the price. Room was large, beds really comfortable and very quiet. "Truly gorgeous property, serene, friendly, helpful and responsive team. Plush and Modern bathrooms; one with a clawfoot tub, sleek shower and his/her sinks! The kitchen was also quite lovely and meticulously redone and well stocked with things for tea and coffee etc. The rooms were quite spacious and clean with lovely countryside views and what must be the most comfortable bed on this side of the pond! " basic but very comfortable accommodation 10 minutes walk from the nearest pub.The room was a decent size the bed was comfortable there was plenty of storage. The bathroom and shower were good with plenty of toiletries. there is plenty of parking room. I would take a torch if walking to local pubs and restaurants as the road has no pavement for about 100 metres and is quite dark but the road is quiet on a night"

"Excellent location for exploring the Cotswolds. Cottage is set back off the main high street and very quiet. It is very small but was fine for the two of us and our dog. If I’m really honest I feel you would be pushed to have more than 2 adults staying or anyone with poor mobility as the stairs are very steep.
