"Very positive experience. Staff were welcoming, friendly and made me feel at home from the moment that I walked in. I called beforehand to check on something and they were really helpful. The room was pleasantly decorated, nice big tv, very clean and well appointed, with tea, coffee and bottled water. Central location. Dog friendly establishment. This is somewhere that I would definitely recommend and will return to when I'm the area. "

"Disappointing stay (Joss room) which was a shame as location was perfect for me. Shower was broken, was offered communal shower but on close inspection I decided not to use. Blind in room doesn’t close properly, lots of light coming in, very noisy fountain out front which you can still hear with windows closed. Very poor Wi-Fi. Pub itself was lovely, staff friendly, no food on Mondays though."

"We booked Mary's wonderful house for a weekend away in December for a catch up with old friends (12 of us in total). We had an amazing time and really recommend the house. It has lots of character from being an old pub called The Star and the rooms were really comfy with almost all of them having their own ensuite bathroom.
