13 - Bothan Mara Cottage By The Sea at Alder Bay

This will be your home away from home when you are with us. Our cozy unit features an open-concept living room/kitchen with transom windows, allowing natural light to brighten your day. Our cottage comes furnished with a full kitchen, a main bedroom with a queen bed, a compact 2nd bedroom with a double bed (75" length, so not for tall people), the living room has a double sofa bed, three piece bathroom (shower/tub combo) and a stacker washer/dryer. Complimentary coffee and tea are provided.

This unit also has a dedicated high-speed fibre internet connection for streaming or working remotely.

The unit can sleep up to 6 people, but to prioritize comfort and space, we set a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children for an enjoyable stay for all guests.

Each cottage is privately owned but managed by Alder Bay Vacation Rentals. It is located at Alder Bay RV Park & Marina.
Reservations cancelled with more than 30 days notice will have their full deposit refunded, less a $50.00 cancellation fee.
The unit can sleep up to 6 people, but to prioritize comfort and space, we set a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children for an enjoyable stay for all guests. Note that the second bedroom does not have a closet.

Beautiful location, property and great host
What a beautiful location, close to the shore and so quiet you can hear the whales blowing off shore. A lovely home situated on a quiet bay, spacious, clean and with great facilities. It's great having a BBQ and a fire pit, the accomodation is very well equipped and exactly as shown on the photos. Great, prompt responses from the host. A wonderful stay.

This was such a well put together place to stay, it was stocked with every amenity we needed. The location was great for us, it was quiet and private, and not far from Port McNeill. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Excellent accommodations and convenient location
Cottage #13 was clean, modern fixtures and appliances, very well stocked with kitchen utensils and housewares. Booking on-line was efficient, and communication with the property managers (Alder Bay RV park and marina) was excellent. Office staff were present 8am to 8pm and helpful. The location is very convenient: the bear watching (Sea Wolf) and whale watching (Sea Smoke) tour boats coming from Port McNeill and Alert Bay will pick you up on the Alder Bay marina dock, which will save you a lot of time because Alder Bay is their last passenger pick-up point before heading out see the wildlife, and their first drop-off point when coming back.
