"This was definitely a unique property. It is in a very old building, located right in the piazza, with lots of dining options. We stayed in the Triple Room, on the top floor. There was a loft with another bedroom, but we did not use it. The Views from this room were unbelievable of the Churches and the rooftops. One of the best hotel views I have ever had. "The hotel is located in the absolute best location! The room was very comfortable but there is no cleaning service (new towels) unless you ask in advance. There is also no shampoo and conditioner; just the body wash, and no body lotion. This seems to be the new normal in Italian hotels unless they are 5 star. Not really an issue though because there is a Coop store directly next door. We would definitely stay there again. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great."

"Bologna was the most fantastic city to explore. This suite was fabulously positioned. During weekends the busy road in front turns into a pedestrian area which is great. Plenty of bars and restaurants on your doorstep. The balcony was a great place to enjoy a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. The suite was very spacious."

"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "
