"This was definitely a unique property. It is in a very old building, located right in the piazza, with lots of dining options. We stayed in the Triple Room, on the top floor. "The hotel is located in the absolute best location! The room was very comfortable but there is no cleaning service (new towels) unless you ask in advance. There is also no shampoo and conditioner; just the body wash, and no body lotion. This seems to be the new normal in Italian hotels unless they are 5 star. Not really an issue though because there is a Coop store directly next door. We would definitely stay there again. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great."

"Beautiful room in a beautiful old building in the south of the centre of the town. Quite a walk from the station but covered mostly by porticos. Lots of facilities, although when we arrived in torrential rain, there were no drying out options, the radiator didn't work and so we had to use damp towels both days we stayed. "My only comaint is the Air conditioner needs service but other than that. The staff was attentive and daily housekeeping was a nice suprise. The main 24 hour guy was especially helpful when we got locked in the apartment due to a power outage caused by the storm. He showed up within 30 minutes to fix the problem. "

"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "
