"The stag was incredibly friendly. The location is really great. The room that we “upgraded to” was tiny. They also told us when we checked in they upgraded us further to a nicer room than we purchased but I didn’t see how that could be. The room was just a bed with a small desk and a bathroom. Again, great staff, great location but the room itself left something to be desired. We could clearly hear the people in the room across the hall as if they were standing in the bathroom talking to us....

"A beautiful place to stay. This is not a hotel, but an apartment at a working winery and restaurant. The owners are friendly and attentive. Quite frankly, one of the most beautiful views you will ever have - of the winery and lemon groves. The proximity to the town is excellent. The only negative, and only if you are not in shape, is that it is a steep walk straight up to the hotel (100 meters?). "

"This rental was breathtaking! We traveled to Cinque Terre via train to Monterosso and the rental was located just a few minutes from there. The “old village” of Monterosso where the suite is located is in the heart of what we pictured the quintessential Italian getaway experience to be. It is located close to everything, but just far enough away so there is no noise, not even from the trains. We loved having our own veranda to sit and have morning coffee outside. "This place is all about location. It is perfectly situated in old town, which is so charming. The place was mostly satisfactorily maintained; they were kind enough to leave nespresso pods for the machine. Took a little bit for the manager to reply, and the reply was uncaring. The devil is in the details, and some were lacking. But overall, great location and great experience. We would go back here."
