The property was a little beat up- one of the windows wouldn’t shut and there was a storm that night the window was banging and it scared my youngest son. "We really enjoyed our stay here. It was easy to get to with minimal stairs from the train station. It was really nice having the patio with a view of the sea. The place has a wonderful aesthetic that really suits the property. There are tight stairs up to the bedroom level so we opted to leave our luggage in the front room. Wasn't an issue for us. The washroom is also down stairs. So if you have to get up in the middle of the night there are quite a few steps (2 lvls). The trade off is it is...

"My friend and I had an amazing trip while staying at the little pirate house. Its location was close enough to get to everything but off the path enough for privacy and quiet at night. We loved Monterosso and all of Cinque Terre and especially enjoyed learning how the history of the dates related to the property. Definitely a bit of a climb especially with our luggage but we had some help from some of the friendly locals so we made it! Would definitely visit again. The only problem was our...
