"Not as customer friendly as a full fledged hotel stay ( this is a resort village, not an hotel), It has perks (animations, entertainment and vacation spirit). . The only minor issue, the inside parking is located inside a set of pine trees, Some parking places are very difficult to access (partially blocked by the trees), and the number of places is pretty small, if you arrive late (after 8:00pm,9:00pm, you will have to park outside in the street (there is plenty of room,though)"

"La literie mériterait d’être changer manque d’épaisseur au niveau du matelas La Clim serait là bien venue lors des canicules "

"Un hébergement sympa, à proximité de la forêt mais aussi des plages, avec de belles ballades à faire. Le mobil-home est neuf, propre et correctement équipé, même si les sanitaires sont un peu exigus. Situé au sein du camping Siblu, il est géré par une propriétaire très sympa et à l'écoute."

"We really liked the sites as it was convenient to get to La Rochelle and Rochefort. Fouras is a great town with lots going on; nice selection of restaurants. The pool was nice but people were not following the rules of no vaping aloud (maybe more/clearer signs or staff mentioning it to visitors would help). The bathroom was a bit smelly at the start but with ventilation that improved (there were no shelves in the shower area so that was not practical). We had plenty of towels and it was great...

"What a spot! These brand new condos are in a pretty sprawling complex that is walking distance to the beach. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen functional and well stocked. The only strange thing about the place is that there are great 2 shower en-suites but only one toilet that looks like an afterthought in a laundry room - very bizarre. All in all a great spot, though, would recommend."

"Location très fonctionnelle à proximité de nombreuses balades, plage et commerces.Il n'y a pas d'extérieure mais la plage étant au bout de la rue les piques niques sont quotidien !Nous avons été très bien accueilli et conseiller par Stéphanie de la conciergerie.Adresse à recommander !"

What a great find

"Lovely hotel in a really good location, the room was wonderful very comfortable bed with a little balcony with a good view over the grounds. The restaurant was amazing with really good service and delicious food, only stayed one night on my way to spain for the weekend and will be staying there again on my return."

Nice new building.

"Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Ideal for overnight stay, staff very polite and helpful. New building 2023 modern decor excellent bathroom with large shower head. Window in bedroom was large but no way to keep it open just a little for fresh air. Would stay again and recommend it to others."

Ibis Styles La Rochelle Thalasso Châtelaillon

"This was our first stay and we really enjoyed it. We had a double and pullout / sofa bed. The air conditioning was very effective and the room very quiet. The swimming pool facilities are fantastic and a real highlight of a stay. We'd have appreciated longer hours for our kid to be able to use the indoor pool (perhaps lunchtime when the pool is a lot emptier). I'd suggest relaxing the hours in off-season also. Breakfast was satisfactory. We also enjoyed using the ping pong table. It's located about a 30 mins walk from centre of Chatelaillon / train station and we walked it. There is a bus stop outside the hotel that takes you all the way to La Rochelle. All in all, we intend to return next year. "
