The upstairs floor which is a huge family room is really unsafe with no barrier around the stairs so children can run straight off the floor onto the bottom floor this was even unsafe for us as if your slightly tired walking straight off the second floor was too easy as there was nothing to stop you. Our friends and family thought we would not be able to cope with a single bathroom. "Check in instructions were not clear and needed to call and ask for help to locate the apartment. The entrance is a red facade with a sign for a playhouse above the door. The apartment is right on a very busy staircase which means there is street noise all night long. The apartment itself is in a very old building and musty but has been nicely renovated and comfortable. "

"Property was as described in a quiet location. Communication with the host was excellent and very helpful. Ideal for what we needed, short drive to Pontoise train station which provided a frequent service to Paris centre - about 50 mins.on the train. Thanks to Florian and Farid for hosting us."

"The address (number of the House) was not communicated , thus , we were at the wrong house at first. But it was easily clarified and all correspondance was very quick and friendly. All other topics were correctly assigned. "

"No A/C as was indicated in ad. Rooms on the top level got very hot. Two of the doors to the exterior and 1 window on main level could not be locked or closed properly. Main bathroom only had one small functioning lightbulb, made for very dim bathroom use after dusk. Bring toilet paper. Would not recommend."

"We were really surprised by how big and attractive the house is. It was very comfortable for 9 of us, and we enjoyed having dinners in the shaded garden. The hosts were helpful and friendly and the area is very nice too!"

"I vacationed in Paris for two weeks and stayed at The Citadines. The hotel staff were very friendly, the hotel room was very clean and equipped with a small kitchen. There’s a laundry room in the building and a nice dining area in the lobby. I felt very safe and comfortable. The location is phenomenal, grocery near by, restaurants, Moulin Rouge, and health club. I highly recommend Citadines."

The Jangle Hotel - Paris - Charles de Gaulle - Airport

Good hotel right next to the airport

"I was only in Paris for a day before heading to Madrid so wanted a hotel close to the airport. Jangle was close and also offered a free shuttle service although they only pick up and drop off in one location. I very much appreciated the detailed instructions on how to find their pick up/drop off as I arrived in Terminal 3 and needed to make my way to Terminal 2. The live feed of where the shuttle was was also very helpful. A slight improvement could be if they identified their shuttle in the instructions as the pick up spot had multiple hotel vans and shuttles picking up at the same spot. You can’t miss the Jangle shuttle, it’s extremely colorful with the hotel name right on the side. It was a short ride to the hotel and once I got there I realized I hadn’t eaten in half a day. Luckily the restaurant has a good selection of family friendly but also higher end foods. Lunch was very good with great service. I ordered a big bottled water to take back to the room and the waiter remembered to bring me a bottle opener. I appreciated not having to come downstairs to ask for one and his thoughtfulness. The room is basic but clean and modern. The toilet is separated from the bath so families can use both at the same time. It was a quick stay but had everything I needed for my virtual meetings. Good stay, friendly service and modern facilities. Will stay again!"
