"Had a great long weekend at the property. Had loads of stuff there to use the kitchen to its full potential. Was lovely and warm and everyone had plenty of space in the accommodation. We were able to celebrate Christmas with my mum who is going to Guatemala next month and won’t be there. A few tiny tweaks will make this a perfect let but already great as it is."

"We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!"

"Fantastic home on the lake with gorgeous grounds and views. Plenty of rooms to spread out and have privacy yet also large family rooms for gathering together for meals and games. Hosts were excellent and very responsive with tips for local restaurants. Overall a magnificent property and we hope to return! "

"The property was excellent, everything you need for a comfortable stay, the double bed was very comfortable and warm. The only thing we found it was a bit far away to walk to the bar/restaurant, for our age group we are late 70 and early 80s."

"This cottage is lovely and cosy, well appointed. V useful to have a washer/drier. Could have done with a bit more crockery, especially bowls and glasses and the wifi was very intermittent. However, a lovely place and very comfortable. Great location and views."

"The road the cottage is on is extremely quiet and is just a short walk into Grasmere, there is a lot of space and the hot tub is great after a days walking! There is plenty within walking distance so you can leave the car for the weekend! "

"The property was large, clean, and furnished with everything I could need. Parking area is large, clean, and right outside the door to the property. Kitchen was kitted with quality equipment (pans, knives, utensils, etc) Bedrooms were fully equipped with everything you would expect. The rear of the property has excellent with good quality summer house. The property is very remote, and would recommend to drive to the property in daylight (at least for the first time) if you're not comfortable...
