"We planned to stay 10 days, there wasn’t a table to sit at or chairs if you wanted to eat meals. We appreciate some kind of household instruction for watching t.v., using the air conditioning unit or operating the locks when exiting. This would be a good place to stay if you didn’t plan on any time in the unit. Also a good wind came up and the shredded patio umbrella collapsed. We left early."

"When you combine a truly lovely property with exceptionally responsive and kind hosts, you can't help but have a lovely stay. That was our experience at the DogWood cottage. The cottage sits in an idyllic setting, and the cottage did not lack for anything. The owners clearly had put a great deal of thought into everything a guest would need (even our four-legged guests). We LOVED our stay and cannot wait to return!"

The standup shower is cute but really tiny; the floor is slippery and it's difficult to turn around in. We like that the shower is handheld, but you have to be tall to reach it. "Cynthia and Tao’s house is beautifully decorated and appointed, the bed is super comfortable and the views from this house are stunning. "House was extremely well equipped, hot tub was in excellent working order. Great views from the patio and very close to coastal hiking trails. Saw lots of wildlife (deer, turkeys, gray fox) and marine life (whales and sea lions), and really enjoyed the deer and turkeys in our front yard every morning. The only negative was window screens that were non-existent or in need of repair, overall it was a great experience and would recommend."
