"I wish I could give this place and the host 6 stars! We really enjoyed our stay here. The house had all the creature comforts we needed. It was beautifully decorated and cozy. The kitchen has plenty of high quality dishes, cookware and utensils. It is hard to tell from the map, but the descriptions in the property notes and in renter reviews about the proximity to Lift 1 are accurate. The top of Lift one is directly across the street (no other house in between)."

"What a great weekend! Host is super nice, listing was very accurate, clean, maintained well. The entrance to beech mountain ski resort took about 45 seconds. Deer in the front drive way everyday. We had a blast skiing all day. Came back, hung out with the kids by the fire and cooked dinner in a well stocked kitchen. We will be here at out next ski trip to beech mountain."

"This condo is walking distance to the Sugar Mountain Resort. It is far enough away that we were entertained watching all the Resort activity but never bothered by any noise or amount of people. A perfect place to stay! The condo itself is beautiful. Has a place for skis/sleds, everything. Every room furnished perfectly . . . the beds were wonderful. Barbara is a fantastic host! "This was simply perfect and cozy. We had an amazing stay. The place was beautiful and clean and overall small enough for that cozy feeling but big enough for 3 adults and 3 kids. We saw snow and the trees were all covered and the place was quiet but close to everything we needed. Definitely would rent this place again. "

"Had a lovely Christmas at the property. Beds we comfy and the huge sofa in the living room accommodated the whole family. Kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook a Christmas dinner. Very close to Sugar Mountain ski resort (a few mins drive). The hot tub was perfect to relax in at the end of a day’s skiing. We will be back. "

"This house was such a great experience. All the reviews are accurate. Melissa was responsive and so easy to work with. This house is located walking distance to App Mountain (my 13&18 yr olds walked with their boards and boots). And easy to access boone and blowing rock. It does suggest 4wd for the winter and I would highly recommend this during the cold weather. Would definitely stay here again."
