I thought that I would miss having access to an oven but it turned out that the stove top and toaster oven met our needs. A walk to the Gerber beach and view of the frozen Golden Lake was lovely. "We stayed as a family of four with two young children at the end of summer. The property is beautiful and the water very shallow quite a ways out so it was perfect for our 1.5 and 2.5 year olds. They had a blast playing in the water, riding around in the kayak and playing with some beach toys provided. "A cottage well equipped to make meals, enjoy sunsets in porch without worry of mosquitos, equipment for folks who enjoy water sports. However, no TV coverage, only WIFI so evenings , if not folks who enjoy doing games, watching DVDs, evenings can be boring. Toilet usage can be a bit troublesome if a large group as takes time for removal of wastes via toilet. Overall, for us, it met our needs. "

"This place is a gem. Great cottage but also the nature is beautiful. We went kayaking and paddle boarding every day: quiet bay no motor boat. The kids had a blast on the giant floating carpets and the adults too. Also, the screen porch is perfect for game night. We will definitely return!"
