"Views are amazing! Room was very comfortable. We had an issue with the air conditioning but after talking with reception, it was just user error. They were very nice in walking us through it. I pad in room has all of the retreat/room information. Many lighting options throughout the room. Tours in the retreat and zoo were very good and I highly recommend them. Our after-hours zoo tour got cut short by a storm that quickly came in but was very good up until then!"

"We were in the 3 bedroom penthouse and loved the apartment. It is well located in the Surry Hills area with plenty of cafes and restaurants on Crown Street, a short walk from the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Cleaning was done everyday and it was acceptable, not outstanding. There is a small but good gym in the building. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. I would recommend Zara Tower Hotel"

"We attended a wedding at the Hotel and I booked two rooms for my husband and I and our son and daughter-in-law for the night rather than travelling home after it finished. It was a wonderful stay - our room was spacious with a view into the beautiful internal courtyard. The marble bathroom is huge with a separate toilet which was appreciated. Lighting and access to mirrors was great - I am short and very short sighted and often mirrors in hotel bathrooms are too far away for me to see properly...

"This hotel was wonderful and affordable. Loved the aesthetic of the room and the hotel. As a younger couple it was no problem but can get a bit noisy at night with all the surrounding night life but also perfect in that way if you are trying to get out and have some fun and want a close place to stay. Would definitely stay here again. "

Great host and location

"The property was well equipped, clean and had a great location. William was a fantastic communicator and was very welcoming. In walking distance to the beach, cafes and shops. Private parking was a huge bonus done as we had hired a car. The listing did tick the box for a hot tub but we are not sure if there was one for visitor use. Other than that we would highly recommend this property. "
