"My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Palma Royale. We found the suite very spacious and great for all of our needs. We especially enjoyed the wrap around porch where we were able to take in amazing views of the water. The front desk staff were all accommodating and happy to help us with anything we needed. "The hotel itself is conveniently located by the water taxis. So if you want to island hop, or are staying somewhere else - its super easy to get to/from. Close to local buses, the airport (within 7 min walking distance). Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The check in process was smooth- we got early check in. Hotel provides breakfast at a nearby restaurant which was fantastic. The hotel was clean. Its a little loud at night. The bed isn't the most comfortable, but for one night it was great."

"Visited during rainy season. Fabulous views, staff, bed, linen, pillows, AC, pool, outside over-the-water restaurant/bar, & beach area. Room w/broken sliding door. Recommend: replace room curtains, deep cleaning floor into corners, sweep bugs (lots of flies). Honors jubalido (resident senior discount). "

"The hotel sits right on the water in a neighborhood less than a 10 minute walk from the main water taxi stop. I liked it because it wasn’t touristy. I traveled with my 14 and 9 year old, and they loved the two hammocks by the dock. After a little hiccup at check in about a room that would accommodate us, we had a great experience with the staff. They are helpful and friendly as is the owner. The rooms are small but clean, and there is hot water to shower with. Great location, and easy to walk...
