"Overall great resort. The only negative that I would be aware of is that the resort seems to used by the community as well, especially the recreation center. Have a younger child who was really excited about the rec center especially being able to play pickleball. The courts were booked the entire time we were there with senior citizens from the local community. The pool also had senior citizens swimming laps. The rec center was also hosting a birthday party on a Sunday afternoon so again difficult to play any games, etc. Would highly recommend to couples or groups looking to get away for a couple days or the weekend. Families beware that your children could be disappointed. "

"I visit my son at Geneva College every few weeks and I like to travel with my dog, Hiro. I always stay at the Microtel. There is a nice area to go for a walk and the hotel is convenient to the college and shopping areas. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I love the Microtel and its staff."

"We were there for the pro bowl riders show in February 2025. The entire staff from registration to restaurant to maid service to valet service was outstanding. The hotel was clean and a very nice experience. The hotel is centrally, located downtown within walking distance of various points of interest. And everywhere we went in Youngstown we were greeted with friendly faces. Bravo."
