"Room is a bit dated but comfortable bed, helpful staff, easy parking and convenient to explore Katoomba town centre and surrounding trails"

"Overnight stay suited us in a good location to shops and restaurants. Bathroom had steps which could be a problem for those with mobility issues but fine for us. Old lift was a bit problematic- slow and didn’t always register. Otherwise, an old hotel with lovely features like a library."

"Sadly the restaurant was not open for dinners. Breakfast was basic but really nice. Michelle on night staff was so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again."

"The Carrington is walking distance from the train and close to everything in Kootomba. The hotel is historic, which means old and needs a bit of a facelift. Some of the staff was outstanding like Shelia, others were just ok. We enjoyed the adjoining restaurant with great food and live music. We even had walked around Scienic World. Overall a good stay 3 Star property that’s very well located. "
