"Great/grand restored old (1880) hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Many of the businesses around are run down, but the scenery is wonderful! Get tickets for the hop on hop off bus at the hotel desk. The bus guide is great, with many recommended activities at most of the stops. "

"From tree tops climbing to ice skating, movie theatre to the gorgeous gardens, everything a family wants is at the property. In the middle of the blue mountains we had a fun and relaxing stay. It is a little outdated compared to a city hotel but this resort is perfect for a rural town. We throughly enjoyed our stay. "

"Variable quality of room servicing. Some towels replaced. Some taken and not replaced. Bath soap dispenser empty but not refilled. Bit of a mixed bag. No consistency. And consistency - the same experience, regardless of who is servicing the room - is the key to a high quality stay."

"The owners have put in great effort to make a charming and unique stay for guests. What a beautiful piece of history, like an amazing window into the Federation history of Leura. The room was super comfortable with a beautiful bed, well appointed amenities and there was also a lovely downstairs lounge. The grounds are very peaceful, and the property being an easy short walk into Leura shops made it such an ideal place to stay. Thank you for making our weekend peaceful and relaxing, unique and a real treat. "
