"The hotel was older but had more personality than the new modern hotels. The property was well maintained and beautifully landscaped. We were even welcomed by a deer passing by. The room was perfect for two people, had everything you would need for a night. The bed was comfortable. We had a very restful night."

"Super clean, very recently remodeled. Great staff, Extremely close to the hub of the town. Great gardens and places to lounge. Walkable. I definitely recommend. Only weird thing is it has the thinest toilet paper on the planet. Weird, but just saying. Go and enjoy yourself! "

"We traveled with some friends to Blowing Rock to celebrate my husband’s birthday. John was wonderful to work with! Very responsive and welcoming! We even had to go back to pick up an item we left behind and John was so easy to reach! The house was the perfect set up with plenty of space to spread out. The location was great. Very close to both Boone and Blowing Rock. I wish we could have stayed a few more days! We can’t wait to come back and visit again. "
