"We stayed 10 nights at this VRBO. The home was very clean and the accommodations were so comfortable. Everything was in good working order. Our host, Ludvig was extremely helpful and accessible. The only person who spoke to us was the host’s husband, and he never gave us his name, even in person. We never saw or spoke to Madeleine. "The communication with the accommodation was bad, largely because it was in French only and I don't speak French. On the day of Arrival we had a difficult Day because our GPS failed and we couldn't locate the somewhat remote location. With the help of a dog walker and the local tourist information in Evian we eventually reached the Complex late. During this time we range the accommodation several times, but no one ever answered. "What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!"

A real birthday treat on the shores of Lake Geneva

"Lovely hotel on the shores of Lake Geneva. Upgrade to a suite made for a perfect birthday celebration. Helpful staff. I used the gym in the next door hotel. Several restaurants nearby if you want eat out. Across the road from the metro which runs directly to the Lausanne station"

nice stay

"Very nice place. We had a lake view with a balcony. Even though it's an old building with radiator heating (no thermostat control, but you can control with the knob). The room was pretty spacious. It was very clean. It's located on a shopping street by the lake, lots of restaurants and shops around. The only thing was laundry service was cash only (CHF15 per small basket). If you need to borrow a charge adaptor the deposit is also cash. "
