"Just stayed as a base for one night as was visiting family in Norwich. Service was very good as got an e mail with checking in details a few hours before we arrived followed by a phone call a few hours later to check everything was ok (10/10) 😀😃 Checked in with codes for front door and then again for bedroom door which was fine after we got used to doing it so not a problem .....just remember the little "*" at the end (9 / 10 not a problem) 😀 😀 In all honesty the room was a bit dated like...

"Well positioned for beach and amusements - shame I was working. Friendly proprietor. Parking was in neighbouring residential streets using an online permit provided by the hotel. Comfortable room with smart en-suite, at a very good price. Good quality breakfast. Only downsides were noisy plumbing and the heating being full on, with a faulty radiator valve so I couldn't turn it off."

"Great dog friendly location to watch the water of the Broads go by as our room faced full length windows providing many hors of entertainment watching the gees, swans and sunsets. Would have been good to know that to get to our room we had a climb of 12 external steps which was a bit of a challenge with cases and our pup but well worth kt when you got there. "The room was clesn and comfortable, housekeeping staff were very helpful especially helpful with my wife who was a bit off colour. The general quslity of catering was better than our last. Our last day breakfadt was goid however consistency needs to be maintained. Front of house staff work very hard, especially Nial, & Jenny. As a former auditor i would suggest a visit by a snag fixer and this place would be cracking. Small changes, massive differences."

"Lovely stay at the Wellesley. Good value for a basic hotel. Nice comfortable room. Welcome tea, coffee and biscuits. Nice big towels (can't stand the silly little ones you get in some places). Good position away from the main Great Yarmouth area but very easy walk to get there (10 minutes slow walk).Only place I've stayed in where you can't have food or alcohol in the room but rules is rules and i saw that from reading reviews before we booked so happy to conform.
