"Super Lage direkt an der Promenade. Viele Restaurants, Bars etc. in der Nähe. Frühstück mit viel Auswahl inklusive. Unser Zimmer war großzügig geschnitten. Balkon mit Blick auf See war topp. "

Neutral: -Zimmer und Bad waren relativ klein war aber für mich in Ordnung. Negativ: - Das Bett war etwas durchgelegen oder ziemlich weich und das Kissen war etwas klein und nicht sehr stützend."

"Our 3 kids enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was excellent. It was also very handy having the option to reserve your bakery order for pickup each morning along with take out pizzas. Very comfortable 3 nights and the town of Ascona was lovely"

"The hotel is perched on top of Ascona and isn’t in the old town but is about 10 mins walk down to the centre. There is limited hotel parking to call ahead to reserve it or else pay about 20 CHF per day at an offsite location which was a nuisance. This hotel has the ability to be nice provided it is EXTENSIVELY renovated. It is very dated but not in a charming way, it looks very tired. The bathrooms (& florescent lightning!) are old an cramped. The carpet in the room was also very old (hotels...

"Good location hotel, walkable distance from Ancona old town and lake. Nice pickup and drop of with hotel bus (from and to Locarno train station. Staff was overwhelmed with a series of group booking, confusion was evident but no improvement. My room was a small but with a view, AC not working and none of the staff knew how to fix it. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake and pool was a nice setting but staff again overwhelmed with groups."

"Staff were very helpful and hotel is beautiful. Rooms were spacious and clean. The property had free bikes to explore the town and a free shuttle (that must be booked as they only have one shuttle). Location is quiet and can be easily reached by taking Bus 1 from Locarno. "

"Nettes kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet, aber doch schon etwas in di Jaher gekommen. Im Bad sind Halterungen lose, und die Tür zum Balkon ist völlig unpraktisch, das sie nach aussen öffnet und somit nur de Hälfte des Balkons nutzbar ist, bei offener Tür. "Hotel ist sehr angenehm und sehr modern eingerichtet. Praktisch gelegen und doch sehr ruhig. Einzig die Heizung geht nach einiger Zeit und immer wenn man das Zimmer verlässt auf den Norm-Wert zurück: im Winter bei uns war das unter 18°C. "
