"This was a wonderful cottage and a beautiful setting. It was extremely clean and well equipped. The owner was delightful and very helpful.It should be noted that there is no dryer or hot tub. But there was a rack to dry clothes on and they dried quickly. Also, you need to take your own bath soap. It was very up-to-date and the view from your window was gorgeous. Lambs scampering about and a beautiful view of the valley. We were extremely happy with our location."

"Upon arrival the flat was not clean. We had to call John and inform him. Not what we expected after an 8 hour drive. After 2 hours the cleaner had just finished cleaning the flat. The rooms were nice, though the bigger bedroom's beds were hard and uncomfortable. The cleaner did not leave hand towels for the bathrooms she just left one towel per person. The family bathroom smelt of mould. The extractor fan does not seem to be doing it's job. The cups in the cupboard were dirty, we just used the same cup for our entire stay. There were no tea towels or paper towels to dry the dishes. There was a washing machine which we did not use. The extractor hood on the cooker did not work. Shower was great, parking was great and train station is 10min walk-town is nearby. This place would suit anyone just wanting a flying visit or not fussy where they stay."

"An excellent base for exploring the Central Belt of Scotland, with great links to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and more, the Studio is a comfortable and quiet place to spend time. Facilities are modern and were more than adequate for our needs.Downsides? Access might be tricky, up a flight of narrow metal stairs. The shower room/loo is very small, although the shower itself is a decent size. And there are no shops, pubs etc within quick walking distance, so a car/taxi is probably necessary. The railway station is about half an hour's walk away, for instance.But as a central base for touring the area, the position is great, and the hosts are very pleasant people. Would recommend!"

"Had a beautiful stay here and our room was lovely as the lovely lounge area,also lovely dining room. Breakfast was Fantastic and plentiful. Travelled from Australia and will let people know when back home about this beautiful place,owners were very kind and hospitable....
