"The property is located outside of bath and is a lovely piece of history. Calm and peaceful surroundings by a river and some fields. The gentleman that checked us in was lovely. The room was clean and great for the price paid, although a few minor problems with shower shampoo dispenser and WiFi on TV. The breakfast was ok but I think small improvements could have been made- no bin... Minor inconvenience but walking around with rubbish in your hand is frustrating. No plant based milk ready to go or gluten free bread etc... fruit could have been fresher. More of a continental breakfast and no full English options but it wasn't the end of the world. We had some food to fill up on before a lovely walk around Bath and Bristol. Outside of hotel could do with some love but it's lovely otherwise."

"Me and my partner stayed at this hotel for night during the Easter break and we found it amazing from hotel cleanliness to the overall decor of the venue. We booked a junior suite but have to say the picture shows double bathtub but there was only one bathtub in the bathroom so didn’t have the beautiful greenery view out the window. The shower facilities were brilliant and the toiletries were really nice. Fresh bath towels and the lot. The bed was super comfy and the pillows were just plump and nice and felt resting on clouds. The sofa chairs were large and very comfortable and there was a Dyson hair dryer that my partner enjoyed. Just enough wardrobe space for two with a fridge that had some water and milk for the free tea. The dinner at the restaurant for us was a let down as we only got the vegetarian menu, the pasta was tasteless but the salmon was tasty. There should be more vegetarian options as little tip for next time. However, the normal menu did look great and so those who are able to eat the meat it maybe nice. They did give fresh orange juice aswell which was delicious. The breakfast menu was fantastic and would highly recommend. The Spa amenities are brilliant so be sure to make use of them. Overall I would highly recommend this place to others and would stay again. "

"Have stayed twice before - always clean and well presented. Lots of people there over bank holiday but no change to great service. Most comfortable pillows. Feel like I’m gushing but have stayed at some sub standard places recently so it was really, really nice to stay here"
