"Our room was not in the main part of the hotel which was ok as it was quiet, had access to a back patio area and was not far from the main hotel. Rooms are in historic buildings so expect that they are not in 'pristine' condition as old buildings like old homes require constant maintenance. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. "The property is a slice of paradise! The island itself is not what you would describe as tropical, very arid with thorny bushes and cactus. However, within the complex, the owner has created a lush, colorful tropical space with palm trees, fountains, pools and bubble spa.
