The hotel has good parking and the staff very helpful, evening meal very good and also breakfast was excellent. Room and bathroom was well sized and all clean and comfortable. "I stayed two nights in Castleton in mid-November amid some early snow which made the village and the walks around the hills stunning. But the real treat came after a long day of hiking when I was able to return to a cozy pub to have a hot meal, a pint of ale and a nice read by a roaring fire.
