"This house was wonderful! Clean, easy to find on GPS, even in the dark when we arrived and a very quiet location. The view was beautiful. We saw deer in the backyard and across the lake. We utilized the fire pit on a cool night and enjoyed s’mores with our family. The small touches were thoughtful-mini bottles of shampoo & conditioner, mini bars of soap, coffee available for the coffee maker. Beds were comfortable as well. If we’re ever back in this area, I would definitely stay here again. "

We enjoyed using the popcorn popper as well. Even though there is no forced air heating or cooling, we felt quite comfortable, even with the outside temperature ranging from 40s to 80s. "What a great getaway for our family! Mighty Oaks had everything you could want, from plenty of room to comfortable living area! "Property was very nice and clean. Just 3 cabins on site so a small establishment. The owner/manger seemed nice. There were pastries etc for breakfast but we had bagels with us which we toasted in the toaster in the cabin and had with some nice hot coffee. The roon was mostly well appointed. The bed was a bit soft for us but others may like it. Best part is you can walk to the lighthouse which makes great sense during sunset times. "
