"This is a modest property. The furniture is shabby. It was very clean, except for the AC unit, which needs to be cleaned. The bed was comfortable. I slept well and my back did not hurt. The sheets are a bit threadbare, but much mor comfortable than the scatchy sheets I had at Holiday Inn. The hotel would be great if the owners upgraded with a theme, even shabby chic. "A friend and I were in Hanover to see a comedy show. This hotel was adequate for a one night stay when we really only needed a place to sleep. It was difficult booking an Uber on a Sunday afternoon to go from the hotel to downtown Hanover. On the way back, we gave up on Uber and walked the 2 miles. It was an easy and safe walk."

"The check in alone should have been a red flag, it was an outdoor service window. The room itself was awful. It was small and cramped and freezing cold. The bed had two very flat pillows (thankfully we always bring our own from home). My fiance went to put his drinks in the refrigerator and couldn't even leave them in there because it was so dirty. "The pool has trees growing, the bathroom door was grime and lipstick . So we really needed a place to stay overnight . It was a bit gross. Sheets and towels were clean , no bed bugs, fridge, ac worked . A big space under the door so we put the rug to block it . No batteries in tv remote, cigarette burns on the bedspread which was also the blanket . I’m not sure if he is trying to fix it up or just doesn’t care . Pay a bit more and don’t go here . "We were visiting the area to see family over the holidays and had a wonderful Christmas at the house. It was immaculately clean, very comfortable, and had everything we needed to prepare dishes for our Christmas celebration. It was a special surprise to walk in and have the house already decorated for Christmas, including a Christmas tree. The location is a little remote but beautiful and was perfect for us."

"Had a great time going to Liberty Mountain and stayed with family and friends over the weekend. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. The only improvement I could see is listing out what tools/condiments/utensils are available in the kitchen since it’s hard to know what to bring for a big group, eventually get better quality beds, and have more towels for a larger group. Other than that it was beautiful and super fun and modern! Thank you! "

"I think the property is very nice. Our stay was very welcoming. Bev was friendly at the front desk! Since there were a bus of kids from another party, the hotel hires a security guard which is really nice. Pros: good breakfast, loved the set up and the fact you can see the battlefield from the breakfast area. The place was clean. Pool was warm for kids and pool bathroom was large and clean, beds were comfy. Cons: could use a clock in the pool area. The main floor bathroom is a bit dangerous as it’s heavy and closes fast, but it is large and clean. We would definitely stay again! "

"We were there just one night. Excellent place and breakfast. The area around it is nothing much, but downtown Carlisle and the beautiful Dickinson college is a short two-mile drive away and a great place to explore on foot. Excellent (!) breakfast. Beautiful fixtures in the room."
