"The apartment was clean and had everything we could have wanted or needed. Condiments in the refrigerator was a nice touch. I stayed with my grandson and Siberian husky for a weekend. The futon was comfortable according to my grandson, as was the bed. The host was very accomodating and responded quickly to messages."

"Cozy, clean apartment within walking distance of everything. Comfortable bed and basic kitchen supplies. We didn’t cook so only used glasses. The exterior steps (about 20) are on the steep side so may be an issue for some people. Great crepe restaurant downstairs!"

Definitely better then a hotel room but i didnt realize it was someones basement but it didnt bother me a bit you dont realize anyones above you with your own entrance in!
