"This cottage is so cute and it fit the four of us just right. Very comfortable beds, lots of pillows and nice living room furniture. There are great views of the mountains and big fields with cows on the other side of the fence. You felt like you were far away from the ruckus of everyday life. It was bright and cheery with beautiful wall paper and lots of windows. A hot tub and screened porch was also there to enjoy. We had a wonderful time and will go back again. "

"Everything as described. The cabin was immaculate, and appeared to be almost brand new. Had pots, pans, plates, cups, microwave, and two plate burner top. As advertised you’ll need to bring your own bedding/towels. Wife and I have already agreed on a date to come back. Thanks for allowing dogs as well!"

"Cabin was as listed with plenty of towels and little touches. Cooking pans were on the better side, which is unusual for a rental. Screened porch gives guests a chance to enjoy the serene atmosphere without the issue of nature's little biting critters. Bed was comfortable and after figuring out where the heat source was, it kept us very comfortable. Plenty of space for the two of us. "

"Our group of seven are members of Coastal Canoeists, in Elkton to canoe/kayak the Shenandoah River plus a Fall club gathering. We enjoyed staying here. Comfortable beds. The owner has done a very good job in renovating this house. Close to Elkton Brewery & restaurants."

"If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to relax that’s pet friendly, this is it. We spent four days hiking in the local area and each evening made a fire in the fire pit. The place was very very clean. Our dog loved being outside with us in the afternoons while we relaxed after a day of hiking. It really was the perfect place for us. Cows in the field in the back and deer that came around every afternoon Pretty pastoral, quiet setting. ."

"This little cottage was very clean and cozy. It is far off the road but close to a lot. A great location for Skyline drive. Good eats nearby. I would recommend an SUV, a sedan might bottom out on the road coming in. I gave 4 stars overall because of the latrine.. It is a compost toilet and there is an odor. The flies were bad because of this. Don’t plan to do a lot of cooking. Pots pans utensils were limited. We cooked steaks on the gri and our forks and knives bent trying to cut them. We have...
