"Beautiful hotel - cannot fault the decor and cleanliness. Lovely staff. Good sized rooms. Comfortable beds and room facilities. The pool was great for kids and although not part of the hotel it was around the corner and free to use. "This hotel is beautiful. It is well maintained, clean and nicely furnished. The staff are lovely too. It is situated ten minutes from the train station and from there you can get to Pisa/Florence/Livorno easily. There is a secure underground carpark which is handy as well. "

"This remodeled farmhouse in the countryside was a perfect place for our first night after Lucca. I was hiking the Via Francigena while my wife was driving. We had a wonderful bedroom and full use of the large "great room." The pool was fabulous. Down the hill we could see horses and other farm animals. The owners were friendly and helpful. Although we stayed only a night it would be a good place for a much longer period of time. We loved the rural feel and quiet. Thank you! "

"The overall experience was very pleasant, a lovely place to stay and surrounding area was nice with places to eat and a little supermarket 1 minute away. The only thing initially was when checking in there was only a woman that spoke Italian so was a bit confusing for me but she still gave me the key for the room etc...a little afterwards another woman was there that could speak English and the payment was sorted out. This wasn't a big deal to me but could be for others. Would definitely stay...

"Beautiful 15th century villa , with manicured grounds . Restaurant was excellent, but rather expensive . Bfst was excellent. 4 km out of Lucca on Busy highway , so couldnt walk into town . Partially offset by a bus route appropriately 600 meters from property. Enjoyed walks in the countryside. Loved our stay overall !!"

Perfect Tuscan Home

"This was our first trip to this region and it exceeded our expectations. My husband and I were traveling with our three grown children and this house was roomy and comfortable and very clean. The interior was a great mix of modern with a traditional flair. The setting was absolutely beautiful with the views of the valley and the pool and the olive trees. The landscape and exterior spaces were impeccably maintained . We traveled in early October so the pool was a little chilly but it was still nice to sit beside. We did day trips to Cinque Terre, Lucca, Pisa and San Gimignano. The location was perfect and even the small town of Buti was fun to explore. Marco was easy to communicate with and helped answer all our questions. Check in was quick and easy. He even helped arrange Daniella to come cook a delicious Birthday Dinner at the house, which was a highlight of our stay. Her food was amazing and I would definitely recommend taking advantage of this opportunity. We ate outside and were able to enjoy our perfect setting. We loved everything about this home and would love to come back again. Thank you Marco for sharing your home with us and letting us create memories we will cherish forever. "

"we love the home we love the location. The host was easy to communicate with the homeless, spacious and extremely clean and well kept. But there’s about three things that they need a tidy up. Their Wi-Fi needs to be better too much buffering improve on possible a new refrigerator third master bathroom shower water was only lukewarm for the whole week the other bathrooms all work great the other thing I know you can’t control, but there is a lot of dogs around the property that bark a lot. "

Beautiful Villa incredible location

"The Villa is in a great location. Up in the hills with a beautiful view. My family enjoyed staying here. The location is very close to a train station which allowed us to travel many different places after a 20 minute drive to get to the station. Morning and evenings were picture perfect. Eating a meal outside and enjoying the lights of the city below was especially nice. The owners are great people and were friendly and helpful. I wish we had more time to spend at the Villa. We traveled every day to Florence Rome Venice etc.so we left early and came back late. My one wish is that the master bedroom had air conditioning like the other rooms did because it was hot while we were there. Apart from that the Villa is perfect and we would highly recommend staying there."

Beautiful apartment and excellent location and service from the team

"My wife and I loved the apartment and the communication from Camilla and Roberta was fantastic. They were so kind and helpful at all times. The apartment is situated within a thoughtfully and sensitively restored medieval property in a very central location and within a 30 minute drive to Pisa and Lucca. We had access to a fantastic pool and relaxing area that we used every day to sunbathe on our allocated sunbeds, table and chairs. The sunbeds even had USB charging points. The people in the other 4 apartments were all lovely and we all got to know each other and spent time together in the poolside area and in the shared kitchen (you also have your private kitchen too). The building is stunning and I noticed that many passers-by also stopped to take a look at the building. I would advise using a car so you can take day trips to vineyards, historic areas like San Gimignano or Siena. Car parking is free of charge too. There are restaurants, a bakery, a few small shops, and well kept streets to walk through in Vicopisano and access to buses that pass through the town. The air conditioning works great too! There were no negatives for us and I hope you also enjoy your stay here. "

"The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. They were on site everyday and we had mobile contact via Whatsapp prior to our stay and throughout. The area is lovely, the pool perfect, and the property is exactly as listed and photographed on the property website. We had such a great time and will definitely return next year! "
