"The Gun Room was very nicely kitted out. The kitchen had everything we needed. Bedroom was very comfortable and bright. One thing I would say is that the sofa is very small and not very comfortable! There is however a TV in the bedroom for lounging. The outside space is lovely and we had some great weather to enjoy it. We had our dog with us so the garden was great but the road was very busy so for a longer walk we had to go in the car. "

"We had a lovely time in this beautiful house - there was plenty of living space for the whole group to spread out and we loved having a big group dinner in the grand dining room. The house is old and some niggles are to be expected (minor cobwebs, loose doorknobs, a couple of chipped mugs) and they definitely didn't take away from our love for the place (and shouldn't deter anyone else!)."

"Excellent facilities, very clean and great to have off road parking. The stairs are steep and a bit of a challenge. Perhaps there should be a warning included in the house description. The motion sensitive light at the top of the stairs was very necessary. It would also be helpful to have a guide specific to the house, and not just a generic guide. We missed having a recycling bin."

"Fantastic location next to the canal enjoyed watching boats going past. Nice walks around and other places nearby. Only thing wrong with the discrimination of the property is it says it has a hot tub but it has a bath inside the house and no hot tub outside. We still enjoyed our visit "

"We were very impressed with everything about our holiday. The accommodation was spacious, well presented and very comfortable and the hosts were always helpful but unobtrusive. "Lovely base for the week while we explored Shropshire. Very well equipped kitchen for our Hello fresh meals. Unfortunately had to take turn in staying downstairs as dogs are not allowed upstairs and our dog would not settle without us! Also cannot leave dog unattended so week was planned around dog friendly venues and activities which there are plenty of. Nice to have garden space for the dog. The host kindly left eggs, biscuits and milk which was very kind."
