"Delightful place. Easy access to where we wanted to visit. Bit snug in some ways, not sure my husband could get in the top floor shower! Or behind the kitchen table. Found the heating control rather baffling too. Also couldn’t get the other shower to wok so my friend had to sit in the bath and use it to rinse. On the whole very happy."

"Welcoming, cosy yet spacious cottage. Provided everything we needed and was well maintained. Didn't quite realize how isolated it was before arrival so definitely need a car to reach shops and eateries. Not far from local towns and attractions though."

"Property is a cosy, classic cottage set back in a quiet location. Beautiful courtyard to enjoy morning coffee/evening drinks. Skipper the host was amazing, very helpful and accommodating. Lovely touches like fresh flowers, fresh fruit, wine and bread. The cottage was spotless: comfy beds and furnishings. "The cottage location is fantastic, just two minutes from a well-stocked Co-op store, and some lovely cafes and shops to explore. People in Chipping Camden were very friendly and we had some lovely conversations with locals whilst out exploring the lanes around the town.The cottage itself was warm and comfortable (the beds were wonderful), and had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay. Would love to visit again."

"We had a great time at the lodge, it was spacious, well presented and in a nice wuiet location. All amenities were as listed and we didn't find anything wanting. The children found lots to do at the hoburne site and we could relax in the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a wonderful base ro explore the area. "

"Steve and Dawn were so amazing throughout - from our planning until the end of our star. We were a bit concerned that the stores will be closed and stressing about what to eat over Christmas and Boxing Days. Dawn checked the stores across the street and even purchase milk and bread for us. They are very sweet and communicative throughout. "

"Spent a wonderful week staying in this house. Painswick is a beautiful Cotswold village and the property is a few minutes walk from the centre, where you will find excellent pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. A short drive takes you to Stroud where you will find all the major supermarkets and stores together with an impressive farmers market on a Saturday. Arriving to the most comprehensive "welcome pack" we have ever encountered we have no hesitation in recommending this property. 10 out of 10"
