"The hotel itself was beautiful, the staff were warm and welcoming. We stayed on a Wednesday which is steak night so if you want a meal there make sure you book first as it was very busy. It was also a bit pricey .Went for a lovely Country walk for an hour or so around the area till it got dark. Only down side was breakfast. I only book a hotel where breakfast is included but here you only have cold breakfast (which was ok & good choice) but if you want hot food or a good old fry up, you have to...

"Perfect location for our two day trip. Great accommodation in a wonderful English country pub. Our superior double room located separately from the main building was ideal and very quiet. Highly recommended especially the staff."
