"Lots of room to hold a large group. Good location as you can travel throughout Switzerland within a reasonable drive. Quite the drive up the mountain through the narrow and winding streets if you aren’t used to it but all worth it! So close to the village of Nendaz which had lots to offer. "We stayed here for a week during the first week of July and had a wonderful time in this beautiful secluded chatel set in the mountains above Morzine. "Les Alouettes was as described. A great chalet for two families of four with extra 2 beds on a mezzanine. It was a shortish walk to a button/T-bar lift/bus to gondola - we used hire car to go to car park nearer lifts as too far for children in ski-boots. "The home and stay was really lovely. We had an amazing time in Samoens with our young family. The home was generally clean, had comfortable beds, a great hot tub, and a lovely view. However, the basement smelled musty, the clothes washer was moldy, and they have decided that garbage bags, toilet paper, dishwashing detergent, and soap for the bathrooms, count as groceries so these products weren’t provided and we had to buy our own. "This property worked well for our large group of two families. However it needs a bit of an upgrade inside as dishwasher didn’t clean well and one fridge froze contents solid."
