"Les Alouettes was as described. A great chalet for two families of four with extra 2 beds on a mezzanine. It was a shortish walk to a button/T-bar lift/bus to gondola - we used hire car to go to car park nearer lifts as too far for children in ski-boots. Not many food shopping outlets so worth getting a shop delivered (very efficient Coop service). The chalet was really comfortable with very good facilities for cooking (we didn't eat out at all). "This property worked well for our large group of two families. However it needs a bit of an upgrade inside as dishwasher didn’t clean well and one fridge froze contents solid."

"Great location, lovely traditional style Chalet of the haute savoie but all the mod cons. The sound of the river and wind in the trees. Stunning walk into Morzine along the Dranse river or a quick run in the car to the shops coffee etc. Great sunny terrace for evening eating."

"A large and comfortable chalet that made a good base for four adults and two children. The three bathrooms and toilets were very useful. The chalet is very well equipped with everything we needed for the week. Lovely veranda with large garden table for dining outside and just sitting to admire the views. The chalet is not within walking distance of the town but is only a 5 minute drive. Parking at the premises is ample, safe and secure. The owner is very friendly and helpful, always replying...

"The chalet is conveniently located not far from the centre of Morzine, at the end of a quiet lane. The open plan space worked perfectly for our party of 10 with a fabulous open plan space offering plenty of space in the kitchen and around the large dining table. The chalet really is beautifully renovated, everything from the bathrooms to the bed linen is of high quality. "Nous avons passé un très beau séjour au chalet de la diablerie. La propriété est très bien équipée et à proximité des chemins de randonnées. La vue de la montagne de la terrasse est magnifique et le coucher du soleil illumine les monts d'une lumière légèrement rosée. Ces 14 jours en juillet nous ont ressourcés et le temps de plus était vraiment très beau. Le soir la température tombe vers les 20 degrés ce qui permet de passer des nuits agréables. Il y a pas de nuisance sonore. Nous remercions...

"Het huis was heel fijn, van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren met 14 personen en de keuken was hier goed in voorzien. Ook heel fijn dat iedere kamer een eigen badkamer heeft. Voor de bus naar Pre la Joux moet je een klein stukje omhoog lopen, is op een paar minuten loopafstand. Het centrum kun je lopend bereiken, ongeveer 20 minuten. We zouden het huis zeker aanraden!"
