"For a very old property, this is a decent value for the price paid. The lobby and breakfast area are clean. The rooms are clean, but not modern. It was quiet and the bed was comfy so it met my needs. I could see that not all rooms, or areas of the property had been addresses by the current owners. Again, my room met my needs at a price that was fair for my usage."

"First of all, Nikki was our online host and stayed in communication with me the whole time. When we arrived at Cedar River, I found that the cabin I thought I reserved was not the one I actually reserved. Fortunately for us Nikki was there to check us in and helped us upgrade to a bigger cabin to fit our family and puppies. "We enjoyed our stay, but I do wish the place was a little cleaner. The shared bathroom (upon our arrival) had small hairs all over the sink and vanity like someone had emptied their electric shaver over it. Also, the doors to the rooms, including the shared bathroom, have no locks on them. The breakfast was very filling, and Mary (the hostess) was nice to talk to."
